Kowloon, Hong Kong

Visiting the peninsula

Day 3 in Hong Kong, it is finally sunny! We decided to go to the main land to explore the bay. We took a ferry from Hong Kong island to Kowloon. The view is nice, it reminded us a little bit Sydney (less beautiful of course). We walked along the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade. Unfortunately, the Avenue of Stars is closed for renovation. Edouard is so disappointed, he really wanted to take a picture with Bruce Lee’s statue. Well, we found a drawing at least…

We then went to the city centre in Kowloon park and we visited an incensed-filled temple where we could barely breath!

In the evening, we went back to the harbour to watch the Symphony of Lights. We have to say we were a bit disappointed despite a nice atmosphere. Finally, we went to Temple Street Night Market and enjoyed egg puff waffles at Mummy Pancakes, yummy!
