On the road again across Damaraland, every kilometre has different landscapes than the previous one. We mainly visited 3 incredible places.
Hoada is what we could call a luxury camping! Located in a unique area, surrounded by granite boulders, each camping spot has its own open air bathroom.
We spent time walking around and enjoyed the small swimming pool with nice views at sunset. A relaxing moment perfect for honeymooners.
Arriving at The White Lady lodge & camping, we could see the impressive mountain.
The camping is located just next to the mount on a dry river bank.
We could use the lodge facilities, which means we enjoyed the pool and bar!
Unfortunately, we didn’t see any elephants that usually walk around the campsite. However, we enjoyed a really nice sunset from the top of a hill.
This is definitely the highlight of this trip in Damaraland. The camping is not as nice as the previous ones but the place is stunning!
Surrounded by 2 mountains including the Spitzkoppe, we climbed up the rock formations, offering panoramic views.
It is also an historic site, as thousands of years ago, people of the San tribe did some drawings on the rocks.
We chose campsite number 11 as it was ideally located for sunset. We climbed once again the rocks to enjoy afternoon red/orange colours.
Thank you very much for funding this part of our honeymoon:
